hi , i have just replaced a front wheel bearing on a2001 disco 2 which i thought was the reason for a loud humming noise on the front nearside but the noise is still there.the only good thing is the bearing was guffed and have got rid of the 3 amigos. any ideas where i go from here , thanks arv

U have to check the whole transmission link step by step: first check the oil level in the axle via the diffs level plug, if its low drain the oil(must be about 1,5 l, if its less and wasnt signs of leaking before means u lost oil through the CVJ seals) then verify CVJ>halfshaft>propshaft(UJ)......good to see the caliper too....if nothing's wrong with these then look inside the diff.
