I recently bought a Wild Bear wraparound rear diff guard. It came supplied with 2 M10 bolts to fasten one end to the existing holes in the underside of the diff but when I came to fit it the bolts were too wide. I tried an M8 but it was too loose. So does anyone know what the correct thread for these holes is, or are they actually M10 and just need a tap running in to clean them up?

I've nicked a picture from the internet and circled the holes I'm on about.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.

I tapped them out to m10 on my 110.
Couldn't be bothered with finding out what they actually were and I wanted to use stainless steel bolts cos I had a load of them.
