Truck drives but only with the Light on and the Diff Lock Engauged with the Shifter all the way down to the Left.????????? If the diff is over to the right and down and i try to pull away the Truck trys to move then Nothing..

Any Help????!

possibly a buggered prop or half shaft.

put it in diff lock and jack up one wheel at a time, try to spin each wheel in turn and if there is a problem the wheel will spin.

Just jacked each wheel up and the two fronts while in Diff lock dont free wheel. But the Rear 2 wheels do! They spin and spin.. Suggestions as to what i need to replace. Thanks

Check yer diff lever again. It should be over to the right and down for normal driving. Maybe the linkage is full of crap and just needs a guid clean and lube to free it off. Don't drive about too much as it is or ye'll end up winding yer transmission up!!

if yer wheels are turning like ye say, check to see if the half shafts are in there... might've been taken out at some point fur some reason or other.

Also check to se if ye've got a rear propshaft;):D

on top of transfer box where diff lock linkage is bolted with 13 mm spanner sized nut turn nut anti clockwise to disengage difflock ,linkage may need adjusting on eyebolt pivot screw in/out to get difflock in and out with given lever movement, switch behind diff lock on t/box can stop it coming out if screwed in too tight, while there free off and lube whole linkage and lever, probably snapped half shaft or diff or worse center diff

Snapped half shaft? might be worth saying where you are, someone on here may live close to you and possibly have a look at it for you.
