you should ba able to fit a 90 crown wheel and pinion to a series diff

Because i broke one of my diffs and i only had a series diff to hand so i used that with MY 90 crown wheel and pinoin

Hope this helps

Cheers to BellAutos for the infomation. I will have to get it on the ramp and get them replaced. Anybody got an Idea what the ratios are on the 90 diffs and the series or what sort of a differnce I may note in the speed. At the moment 50MPH is screaming the engine. I get 60mph if I push it and then the engine is realy reving to much. By the way that is down hill with a wind behind me... ha ha.

The standard 90 defender ratios are normaly 3.54 to 1
And the series diffs are normaly 4.7 to 1

As long as you have a 10 spline shafts in your series you can fit the defender diff unit compleate in to your series axles and then there is no need to swap crownwheels about

NOTE you may need to add drain/fill bungs to the series axle casings to fill with oil as the oil fill is in the series diff housing and NOT in the defender.

By the way if you need any help in only in york very neer you :)
