diesel rattle noise from wheel

brought a 98 td freelander cheap as a spare car there a noise like a diesel rattle on full lock from passenger wheel wen on full lock any ideas ??? are these td versions good cars ????

CV joint or wheel bearing. If the joint then it can be noisy for long enough however if it's the bearing change it asap. If the car was cheap then it's good value even if you have to spend a bit. Plenty on here who are pro TD, others prefer the TD4 and then there are the petrol ones which people have but often wish they didn't.
