Defender Td5 injector loom

back again trying to resolve my Td5 Defender problem. One or two members may recall that I have had an ongoing issue with my Td5 which, initially started to show overheating whilst towing. When the engine had been running well for approximately 20 miles it decided to cut out. It was as if I had turned off the engine. If I left the engine to cool for about an hour of so, it would start again quite happily and, after a few hundred yards, it would cut out again.

I have had several tests done and it looks as if it is the injector loom. The mechanic has said that there is no problem with the head:p

Does anyone, nout there in Loonyzone, have any advice on purchasing a spurious after market loom, or should I go for the Land Rover genuine replacement which, no doubt, will be two or three times the priceo_O

Any thoughts would be most welcome o_O
