Ive heard of people fitting heated seats from smart car. Supposed to be easy but i dont know exactly whats involved. They look good and are cheap. You have to be careful because in a defender the bolsters and base need to be low or they will be a bitch to get in and out of..

Cobra monaco s in mine :)

Smart seats in all my defenders I've had

Easy to get in and out of. Super comfy and you move them over a couple of inches so you get elbow room.

My latest one has heated leather brabus seats in the front but cloth in the back for the kids. I've acquired so heated bases for the back uns so soon the sprogs will be heated too

Dont see why not. I had heard they are slightly narrower than standard. Though it would be cool if someone who had actually done it chimed in on my thread to confirm.....

Theoretically you could fit 3 smart seats in the front but I wouldn't see the point.

The only people who can sit in the middle seats are very small children. Unless your really pally with your mate and don't mind copping a feel every time you change gear.

Neither appeals

I'm really pally with my 5ft 1 inch, size 6 misses.... So yeah... There is a point ;)

Whos swapped out the standard seats for something a bit comfier? Any pics or ideas would be great

We have recently fitted some Mazda RX8 seats in our 90 just need to wire them in as other stuff keeps getting in the way

I take it that Saab Aero seats are the most comfy that you've ever sat on? Or do you just happen to have a set?

My kids and I thought Volvo 850 seats were our favourite, so that's what I have waiting to go into mine. No chance of three abreast, but they'll always have memories of that in the SIII.

Any chance of pictures. Of your wife?

Saab 9000 aero seats are joint first for the most comfy... They're joint with the seats I used to have in an old p reg Volvo 940 estate.

And no ;)

My only concern with saab or volvo seats would be the thickness of the base. I think i will be doing the same as vilguy.
