Hi there, just looking for some advice really. I have a 300tdi defender and have just past my driving test. Im 17 and looking for the best car insurance company that doesnt quote silly prices and understands landy insurance? Thank you all.

get a landy mag full of adverts.Steer clear of the usual suspects like direct line, more than admirial etc.Or do a search in the top right on here

What's wrong with Direct Line? They were by far the cheapest for me.

just try a comparison sight as well, mine from there came out cheaper than a specialist company.

im now with swift cover, about 400/year for me and my missus. I was 23 when i took it out, on a TD5.

try NFU they are ok and normally don't care about mods.

i'm 17 passed my test 3 weeks ago, got insured for my 110 hardtop with nfu. £900,

Try Adrian Flux,

I was 20 3rd party for a 200tdi 90 with larger intercooler and engine power upgrade, lifted, winch and winch bumper etc for £400. No other common company would touch me as it was modified, Direct line wanted £900 and only if it was standard.
