Defender 110 td5

Defender will drive only in diff lock. Have jacked up and checked all wheels with diff lock and handbrake on. Front two ok, both rear wheels spin freely without propeller shaft moving. Does this indicate both shafts broken or a diff problem?

Pull half shafts from rear axle.

Was there a bang or clunk?

Any subsequent noises?

Hi. Found splines worn on offside rear half shaft. Diff seems ok. Will fit new half shaft tomorrow
