not without it being utterly useless. How would the kids climb in? I bought a 3 dr where someone had done this previously and they had to climb in order the front centre seat! Very quickly removed said bodge!

Convert it to a 5dr if you want 2nd row seats

Yes is the answer. You may have to raise the floor to get the leg drop but a piece of 4x4 timber will sort that. Access wise 90 front seats flop fully forward so you can step through.

wood... to hold the seats.....

step in.... maybe if your a frickin midget. Clamber over is the right way. And legally I am not sure where you would stand with this. In the event of a crash would you want your kids to be stuck in the back?

Maybe if your a selfish parent these things would be acceptable. From a legal standing - negligence?

if you want 2nd row seats either fit flip up forward facing ones, (so you would have 2) or convert it to a 5 dr and put your proper 2nd row seats in. Its not that hard or expensive to do.
