For me it would be a Toyota lump or if I was on a tight budget a Tddi Transit engine with a re-map

ya cant disagree with ya on t toyota, but if ya read t landcruiser forums they give trouble too, head gaskets, injectors, electrical but there possibly a litte ahead of t bmw, but try putting one into t p38 :doh:

I must admit im really happy with the BMW lump in mine, only since fittin the PSI box tho lol, if i had a choice id stick my van engine in, its the most reliable engine ever, 5cyl TDI thats been mapped and done 246 thousand miles... all original excluding starter motor and cambelt, still on original alty..... :mooning:foooooookin marvelous (it would never go in a p38 tho)
