Dashboard lights TD5

Just noticed my engine temp guage light isnt working.........is it easy to replace........and how do I get in there? Def 90 TD5

Yes it is very easy to replace.

Just four screws holds the instrument binnacle on.

You don't have a manual then

As BD says

If it's the same as mine, bulb holder just pulls out

Make sure you use the right wattage bulb (I used Bosch Pure light 5w - part number 501 from Halfords) - too high a wattage and the gauge melts!

TD5's use tiny little bulbs instead of the 501 wedge bulbs used in older defenders. They are a miniture version. I have a feeling they are 1.2w bulbs.
