HI just thought i'd post up some piccys of my instrument panel that ive been working on ! the three dials have been moved from the A pillar to the center of the dash board where the air vent was, chrome rings added to instrument panel and blue LEDs used to illuminate it. Your thoughts please.
oh and picture of rear spoiler thrown in for good measure.

i prefer black on white dials, makes reading the dials easier.I switch me headlights on when i start to struggle to read the dials, and on me car (with black on white) it tends to be later

is it hard to wire up a volt metre for the battery?? im just worried that i might get a flat while watching family guy or somthing. used to happen all the time in my 306. you would be playing the ps2 an then the transformer would beep an you would have to bump start it. and i just dont fancy bump starting a p38!!lol

If you're running other stuff with any Landrover newer than Disco 2/P38 you really might be better off fitting a second battery and a split charge system, with the accessories running off a leisure battery. The newer models are all dodgy when it comes to battery power .. if the battery gets low they basically tell you to feck off and do something else ... Literally!! ... the alarm and cenral locking systems always seem to be the first to stop playing!!

Looks well done, but I prefer to have the cold air vents myself as it gets pretty warm here. Where did you get the white dials for the speedo and tacho? The Kph figures are virtually unreadable on the standard dials. :D

Hi,

Are those custom gauges faces.
I'm looking for beige (bentley style) for mine.
I know overfinch has done it in the past.

Thanks for sharing the infos:)

Not exactly my style but each to their own. The black on white is very readable.

I'd have gone for an air pressure guage for the EAS tank instead of water temp. There is already a water temp back up in the sense that there is a seperate independant sensor for the aircon fans.

I'm considering replacing the clock with an air guage myself. It would be a very good way to keep an eye on the health of the EAS.

Here's my EAS tank gauge near my alcantara refurbished pillar.
As you said very good to keep an eye for leaks or compressor wear.
