What are the main differences between the D3 and the D4 - apart from cost, obviously!
Remember, I am just a clueless, non-mechanically talented woman! But I have got other talents, honestly!

3.0 engine in D4 compared to a 2.7 in D3. 2012 on D4 had 8 speed gearbox, more up to date sat nav.
Rest of them is basically the same car.

It won't be long before you get enquires asking you to define your other talents.
'Oops I've gone & said it, sorry no offence … I am a gentleman, honestly

At my age, and stage, I think perhaps my 'other' talents might not be the ones which would appeal to you! :)

They modernised the interior of the D4. Made some changes to the outside to make it more aero dynamic to save fool. Front bumper and mirror shape is the bit I remember. They set the flow of air past the rest of the car.

Ooh, I'm not into aerodynamics! I just believe what I'm told.:)

is yer looking to buy a disco?
I aleady 'ave. I got a D4 as it was the only LR that had a boot big enough for my two reprobates to be comfortable in.
It is 2012 (Sept) and has done 55,000 miles. I am getting an average fuel consumption of 33mpg so am 'appy. The road tax is high but then it's only money and I can't take it wif me. And by the law of averages, I don't have that many driving years left - unless I do DoE! I'm determined to get as fun out of it while I can.:)

And at MY age the one's that would have appealed in the past don't seem important now
Sporting of you to reply to what was a cheeky post, I hope you get a vehicle to be happy with.
