Read through a few posts followed the advice etc then finally the fuel pump started to run very loudly and finally stopped running yesterday. I've ordered a replacement but thought I'd start stripping the cover plate and clean up the area ready to fit it.. I think someone used a sound deadening technique I've certainly not used before
