Had a great day today resealing the valve block on my truck. All done and back in, but when I fired it all up the back end rose to its fullest height and stuck there. Managed to clear the faults with my RSW but no reaction from the rear and couldn't get it to deflate either, to try and lower it. Anyone had this and ideas how to release the pressure, so that I can double check over the block for anything I have messed up.
Cheers

You do have the solenoids back in the right place? easily confused.

Hi,
looking at the top ones they all were numbered and went back in the same place. but at the moment I cant release the pressure to check the bottom two. The RSW cant see any faults or deflate the system. Can it be done"safely" any other way..so I can get the block out.

Ok..so managed to deflate the system by unplugging the airlines..(s***, thats a scary one..!). Checked the solenoids all back in the original places ok. Checked the diaphragm was in place and the right way round. Fired it all up and the back end is up in space again.
No faults on the RSW and no way to bring it down on the dashboard. The height control lights are all on and no reply from the manual control....
lost now..?

To be honest, I didnt think anyone was reading so just got on with it...apologies..!
The cockup on my side was.. there are three larger connector plug and sockets in the EAS box, obviously. However, if you (me) dont pay attention and remember which plug goes with which socket, there are two that can be swapped over and it all goes back together again, with abit of a squeeze . Result being that it will all fire up but the system cant cope and pumps up everything and sticks it in high mode. Plugs swapped back round again and now the best EAS that the old girl ever had.
For info, the diaphragm that came out crumbled into dust when I took it out, so probably due for a change and the dessicant changed as well, as it looked a bit like tapioca.
Happy Days.

.
Glad you got it sorted.....and as for thinking no one was reading - maybe it is because it is the weekend, we all have lives outside of the internet and in my case I was spending some precious time with my daughter!

I hope that didn't inconvenience you too much ;)

Whoa..!!
In my post I apologised for not putting in an update and explained why. Whats with the sarcastic comments here.???
I thought this was supposed to be the friendly site, I'm sure everyone has better things to do than read my posts but this kind of comment makes me think is it worth bothering if that's what replies come back.

Sweetie, if this is how you react to one of the nicest people on here, giving you one of the gentlest pieces of banter, you need to toddle over to ebay and order a large roll of cotton wool and wrap yourself in it. The world is obviously far too dangerous for someone as sensitive as yourself. OR you can accept you came here for help, you were given it , more promptly than many sites I know and if you are not bright enough to note the 'viewed' count, or decent enough to share the fix, without being prompted, then you leaving this site, is no-one's loss but your own.
Do have a lovely evening sweetpea, do you require kisses, hugs and a mug of hot chocolate before you go sleepies?

Landyzone is a 'unique' forum, you will not get a faster or more knowledgable response from anyother forum....but like all things in life, it comes at a price - and that price is banter, mickey taking and just a hint of good natured sarcasm.

Tough skin, a tin hat and a willingness to humble yourself are common practises and tools on here......don't take offence, as 99% of the time the members on here are just playing - mostly.
