Hello,

I have brought myself a aircon kit, however i do not have myself a engine loom for the condenser etc,

Has anyone done any wiring that doesn’t talk to the ECU? I know the aftermarket kits don’t talk to the ECU,

Or it is as simple as just wiring up a switch to the condenser and compressor clutch when I want to use it?

Any help is appreciated
Thanks
David

The most important part is to have a low pressure switch in the air-conditioning line so if and when the gas pressure gets too low overtime it will stop the relay activating to switch the compressor in.
If the compressor keeps on running with no gas or oil it will seize and throw your belt off.

there is a kit car company in Kent (car builder solutions) who do aftermarket Aircon Parts might be an idea to speak to them.

So I have brought a air con engine harness, has the a/c compressor and the condenser fan wiring, the injector loom plug the caked in oil, I was thinking about removing the wiring I need and pin into my current red ecu plug? Would this work? Or is there any other plugs on the diagram I need?

Thanks
