Hi everyone.

I've bought a completely unnecessary Defender, and need to change my lifestyle in order to justify it. What can I do? Alpaca manure transport has been suggested by some allotment loving friends. We spend weekends in Norfolk, and live in London in the week.

Cheers,
Chris

Is writing "UN" on the door of your landrover defender illegal? Or putting a "Red Cross" on it. If you're not in the UN or working for the red cross that is?

If you've got the wrong model then they won't allow the defender into London emission zone:(

We go into Cromer a dozen times a year, there's a second hand bookshop and Bouys Toys Model shop I regularly frequent, sadly Barclays bank is closing in Cromer.

I've done the journey to London once or twice most years in the last 45 years. It's getting better all the time, with the A11 all dual carriageway now, the Northern Distributer Road round the top of Norwich will be open soon.:)
I justify my 110 not far south of Cromer by the facts,
in the winter outside of the A roads in Norfolk, there's no gritting or snowploughing, I need to get to work.
There is much more luggage capacity than a car, ( 40 breeze blocks, a load of timber and 3 sheets of plywood needed on Tuesday).
I've got boats to tow ( one to launch next Saturday)

Mine is a 2011 TDCi 2.4, I think its ok for the emission zone. Thanks, thats a damn good justification. My partner's stiffney cockle has a mouring so I don't have that justification yet, unless I get something bigger ;) C
