Hi all can any one tell me ware it is and what it looks like Please?????????????????


Sorry its a td4 2001 freelander and its a crankshaft postion sensor not a crankcase

I assume you mean 'crankshaft position sensor' but on what engine??????

It's fitted into the engine block just under the starter motor and is held in with one cap head bolt (allen key) the top of it is rectangular where its electrical plug fits.

hello SORRY its a camshaft postion sensor ,this is the part that stops it starting wen hot

That's this one near no.1 injector....

I have the same problem (trying to find it) on my '98' freelander 2ltr diesel. Could someone please put a pic up for me.
