Wanted County Window Surrounds for a 90

Evening, All.

I'm after the plastic interior window surrounds that were fitted in CSWs as standard, in order to finish off my interior. I need both the side windows and the small rear ones either side of the back door.

What's out there?

hi i got some for a 110 are they the same ?

Teemore0 - That's a good question! I presume the side window surrounds will not fit, but the two windows either side of the back door will?

Damn. That was one of those times I wanted to be wrong! (Even though I'm hardly ever right, anyway.)

I've found some belonging to a guy who's breaking a 90 CSW, but he wants to sell them as a set with the county rear seats and won't split. Bother...

I've found some! Next question: can I fit sound deadening insulation type stuff behind them?

I highly recommend not to use old screwed up newspapers.................... If you do a search for closed cell you will probably get a hit for insulation etc.

Great. Thanks, as ever. I'm looking forward to a potentially slightly quieter and warmer car, although at the moment all the bulkhead and footwell sound prooofing and matting is out ahead of curing the rust worm that appears to have been living in that vicinity, so the truck is not exactly quiet!

Looks like camping mat is the way to go!

Be careful, a lot of camping mat is not closed cell, so when it gets wet it holds the water.

I use a camping mat cut up for the footwell in my 90, but then take it out and pressure wash the inside when I have gone offroad. The mat holds water if I have been wading.

Good point. I'll definitely use closed cell, in that case.

Closed cell foam ordered for the Sound Deadening Shop. Can't wait to fit it all up. Thank you to everyone for your input on this thread.
