Corroded Brake pipe 61 plate RRS

Hi,

Just as we've made the decision to keep our 61 RRS, we have discovered corroded front to rear brake pipes. Is this a body off job as some have quoted? It may very well be just nice to check

For a brake pipe, i wouldn't think so..

if they can see it, the likely hood is it can be replaced without lifting the body..

So JLR still can't fit brake pipes that do not rust away. Brake pipes are the only thing that have not rusted on my Transit, so it can be done.
I doubt that the brake pipes can be replaced using the original runs and without joints if the body is not removed.

Yep, apparently still a problem. They have said for some you can feed through (exactly as you have said, off the runners) but I think they'd just rub back through so seems a bit pointless... Looks like body off it is then

Or fit new ones with new clips and ignore old run.

Could @gstuart advise on this . The RRS is just a D3 with a different top
