Reet, as some people know, i've been considering selling up for a few weeks now. Had my Freelander about 18 months now, which is actually quite a long time for me to have a car, second longest ever in fact!

So anyway, I may be defecting to the dark side with a nice 2.2tdci I've found, or I may go back to sports cars, I'm undecided, if I suddenly get loads of work in it may be both :D

So anyway, my car:

2005/05 FL1 TD4 SE 3dr in Cairns Blue
Will hit 89k this coming week more than likely, its about 140 miles off. My 300 mile trip to Manchester yesterday made sure of that.
Standard SE spec (heated windscreen, mirrors, cd changer)
Full Heated Leather Option (unmarked)
Fuel Burning Heater
Full History, mostly main dealer. I bought it from Stratstone, and I've had it serviced and looked after there since (partly cos I don't have a massive amount of free time, even though I have the space, and partly cos I get looked after by the lovely lady who works on service there :D :D )
Mot Sept/Oct this year (I think, will check) Tax around the same time.
3 Previous owners (once again, will check when I dig out paperwork)

VCU/IRD spot on.

Since I've had it, its had various things done:
New Genuine exhaust (was done when I bought it)
New injectors (they did some other stuff too cos it wasn't running right but can't remember exactly what it was as it was Warranty work)
BMW Oil Separator
EGR removal for Allisport blank along with Allisport silicone hoses
Full clutch/flywheel/hydraulics (top & bottom) overhaul and replacement for Valeo HD kevlar clutch & SMF kit, chugs along on tickover far better now without wanting to stall itself
Remap done by Durham Remaps couple of months ago

Lift kit (one of mine, obviously), 40mm, one of my first units, been on since around October time, was fitted by Cheviot 4x4. They did some MOT work at the same time, which I think was just a track rod end & ball joint.
16x7 Black Modular wheels with Cooper Discoverer AT3 tyres in 225/75/16, tyres been on since July, wheels since December. Approx 9-10mm on fronts, 10-11 on rears last time I checked, will check either tomorrow or Monday
Mantec Sump Guard & Mantec Exhaust Guard with Mantec receiver hitch & shackle.

I'd rather sell the car as it is, but, I do have buyers for sump guard and wheel/tyre combo if need be.

I've had a look at prices, and they vary dramatically, most of whats available is low spec, even the Sport models largely have less spec (most don't have leather, heated screen etc)

As it is, I'd like £4950, which given the money spent on mods I think it's fair, especially if someone is after a Lane ready car. It has a rear ladder too, which will come with the car :D

All I'd remove from the car would be the wheels, & Mantec stuff, but would obviously need a set of wheels to replace mine.

No pics of the interior, but below is the exterior taken a few weeks ago...

Very reasonable price. I'm sure it will sell quick

If someone came and offered me that asking price for it tomorrow I'd take it there and then to be honest. Would probably then go for the Defender I've seen, or blow it on something silly with a big turbo!
