As the title says i am considering selling my p38 4.6 oslo blue rangei.

Only considering not saying i can actually part with it. Since buying the new to me L322 4.4 lpg beast the p38 has hardly been used. Im lucky as its now parked in a mates garage in the dry he gives it a run out for me once every 2 weeks........so if i did sell what should i honestly be looking to ask ???i know i know how longs a bit of string but considering iv almost totally rebuilt the thing what do people think ?

Prices vary. I wouldn't sell it tbh.

Gone are the days of P38s being 1k and below, their prices have firmed and are on the rise for the petrols.

Many Vogue's in good nick change hands for 3k-10k ;)

Depends on mileage and condition.

As you say it's been pretty much rebuilt so it could command a premium over the others..

Just be prepatpr for that inevitable feeling of sellers remorse when she leaves ;)

Look on Car and Classic and eBay etc and see if you can find a cheap Vogue or even HSE ;)

Can you justify keeping a rover75, D3 and L322 in comparison. Price hasn't climbed yet but they will soon as more and more get eaten by the scrapper. Pristine will get a premium.

I'd look at getting a tarp and shut it away safe minimal. Wrap it up battery off and put her to sleep somewhere safe. Even park it in the garden and build a shed with no door around it. If you change your mind it's still there and won't go down in value ;)
If you went and bought another for 5G it will need attention. Yours has security in knowing it's already been done

tarp is the worst thing to cover a car with. first off moisture sits between the tarp and the paint and causes the paint to blister. also moisture sits under the tarp and without a free flow of air causes stuff to corrode at a rapid pace. you're actually better off not covering it all rather than a tarp. when I kept my porshes at the farm they had cotton twill dust sheets between the waterproof covers (needed because of dust) and they got uncovered every couple of weeks to let them breathe and get a free flow of fresh air. even so, without being cleaned mould would start up on the leather after two weeks if not breathed

Well it's been over a year and iv waited and waited, the old girl starts on the button runs like a dream she needs a good polish as been standing in my mates garage plus a little bit outside when he needed to use it.

Gonna give her some TLC the rear wiper has stuck due to non use the aircon needs a regas and the vac pipe on the cruise has split.....then will decide her future

Still havnt driven her as the l322 has been no trouble at all
