Hi NeilB It's NOT for spraying CARS ,It's for filling DIVERS tanks ! But i dont see why you can't tap of to a seperate tank to spray a car ! MAX psi is 3000psi in divers tank ! I never took it above in mine when i was shooting ! SAFTY & all that !!!! LOL + my life was/is more inportent than a rabbits ! LOL

Yep...know that. But trying to fill a 12l twinset to 230bar means 5520l of air. If the fill rate is 100l/min we are looking at nearly an hour to fill.
I have a 6cfm diving compressor I am looking for something bigger....12cfm at 300bar preferably but 10cfm at 230bar would do.

I also wondered if the filter stacks are repackable or take filter cartridges.

Hi Neil Sorry late reply !
Just been to see mate who had same has this one ! & he recones that to fill a 15lt from empty 10 mins max & his was nackerd ! 12/14cfm could be more ! as for the filters they are repackable ! 1 charcoal ,! silica jell & both are still good & dry !

Ah ha! That's more like what I need to hear!
A few more questions before I drive over with money though I am afraid.

I can't find anything about Siebe Gorman compressors online, nada, nilch. This is either because they didn't sell a lot, thus no support. Or, more likely, they badge engineered your unit.
From the top it looks a lot like a Bristol Pneumatics compressor, the interstage cooling coils even match my BP6.

Can you have a look on the pump unit? It should have a plate near the crank case cover that says something like 3S10 or 4S12 etc. The crankcase cover may even say Bristol on it if we are lucky.

Hi Neil Mmmmmm think i neeeds to put the price uuuuuupppp ! LOL only kiddin !!
you don't know how lucky you are ! yes it's a Bristol pump ! & it still turns over & pops & farts like a compeser ! so shunt be a prob making air !!

Steve
Ps hope your feeling STRONG ! LOL

Yep...was just going to say that. Bristol 4S7. So 4 stage compression (275bar max) 7cfm of free air. So about 4-5cfm when compressed. I already have a Hamworthy BP6 with a Bristol 3S10 pump until. Unfortunately this means mine is better than yours for my purpose......my search goes on.
