I dont know if its supposed to stay on ,mine ,my compressor comes on kicks in on and off about 3 times a minute or so and less in cold weather ,,,but its minus 16 degrees at the vents on full cold ..

Yer realised it’s supposed to go off I didn’t give it much time really will leave it running tomorrow cheers

Only because compressor oil is green.
It could be a slow leak from nearly twenty years or so recent but it does show there has been a weep of oil and an oil leak never cures itself.
Hmmm. Your call... o_O

I’ve replaced all the switches and the rad that’s the only thing left that’s original left and I couldn’t find any leaks but probably wouldn’t show up through that compressor seal the rad had a leak so needed changing
