Coding injectors with nanocom

Guys, just a quick question, my mate has a discovery 2 Td5 2002, that keeps appearing at his garage due to starting issues, the owner has brought new injectors, but my mate is having issues "coding them" the 1st one coded fine, the rest won't despite various attempts, he now has my nanocom, will this help?.
This was only a quick conversation between us, so I have probably missed out the technical bits(sorry)
So I guess my question is, will the nanocom work/help solve this.

What post are you looking at? when I click on the link above I do not see anything about injector coding and it is only one page long?

AFAIK, the nancom is more than capable of modifying / changing the injector codes on a TD5.

Sorry tilly Don't know how to do links ! It's the 1 with the picy off No1 piston staring to MELT in the middle / PAGE ONE & their are only 6 pages ! I only read it yesterday & when I go in to TD5 it's the second thred down !

If you go to the nanocom diagnostics website in the forums, and search for injector code there is a lot of info about the coding and type of injector.

It just take some digging thru......

funny enough your on there, so just followed what you was reading

ok so a bit of an update, after a long coversation with my mate, i said i would ask on here, cause you lot know everything
The disco in question, has had issues with starting for some time now, so far its had the following (take with a pinch of salt)
2no new fuel pumps in the tank
fuel fiilter
new injectors
new rocker loom (due to oild ingree into the ECU)
ECU cleaned
air filter
The disco does start after about a minute of turning over, and once started she runs and drives fine.

any ideas would be great

Poor starting from cold can sometimes be down to faulty glowplugs or the glowplug relay.

Did you get check about the injector coding?

I know they are "non starting " vids, but have you looked at the videos on YouTube? Useful to look at anyways.

iirc there are 3 of them by these guys.


Also, fuel filter housing being porous has been known to cause a few issues or the valves inside it .

Other starting problems can be caused by:
The Crank sensor (CPS): failing/dirty/bad wiring
The starter motor failing, causing electrical noise to interfere with the CPS
Poorly installed injectors: The copper fire washers and the mating surfaces MUST be spotless.

Forget glow plugs it's not that cold... Time for a compression check?
