Had to share this!

Had a parts request today for a 1.8 clutch pedal. So, obvs, clarified and asked "do you need the rubber, the pedal, the pivot, the spring, the mounting or the hydraulics"?

Reply came "pedal has gone to the floor and garage say it needs a new pedal as this one comes up then goes down again"!

I said that I had never seen a pedal break it was 99% hydraulics or slave mount.

He agreed but garage wanted £500 for a new pedal and he was trying to get it cheaper.

Arghhhhhhh

Sometimes I never fail to be amazed by the number of times I never fail to be amazed........

I had a pedal break/bend on a series 1, wondered what the hell was going on.

A new pedal is only £111.07 inc vat, mind you it doesn't come with the rubber:D
