Clutch problems????

Hi all
The clutch in my 110 td5 (98000miles)is not slipping but my gear selection has become very hard expesially reverse (need to use both hand to get it in) and there is a slight groaning noise as i try to select a gear. Any ideas please

Is there any oil in the gearbox?

Oil in the gearbox not sure about that how do I check that and where do I fill it ?cheers
