clutch problem ?

hello
i have a disco 1 200tdi 1993.

i had a new clutch in my car around july!

but in the last couple of days the clutch seems to be poor!
yesturday i couldnt even put it in 1st or rerverse (manual).

i eventally did but i noticed that as i release the clutch it bits very quickly and jumps forward very suddenly!??? but it is driving? it is also hard to get in 2nd 3rd etc when driving.

i have check the major cyclinder with the fluid and it seems to be ok (i toped it up by a 1cm) my dad seems to think that it could be the slave cyclinder so i have ordered 1 to see if this works ?

can anyone advise me on this please as this is my every day car

what make of clutch did you fit?

the pushrod can wear an hole in the clutch fork It's possible that yours is starting to go.

im not sure to be honest but i am takin back to the garge work it got done ! to see what they say and i will find out which 1 it is ? but can the push rod make the hole this soon ???

i have only done around 5000 miles if that ?

he clutch plate might have done 5k miles but the fork is probably the original factory fitted one.

i took it back to the garage and he said it is most likely to be the slave cyclinder!
as when u put it in gear the first time it goes in ok then as it has been worked a couple of times it is harder for it to go into gear ?

that sound right guys ?
