Clutch problem

Good evening everyone

I have a Land Rover TD5 2003 and whilst driving home from work it felt like the truck was vibrating a lot more than it normally does upon driving a bit further the clutch pedal went completely soft but was very hard at the last bit of the pedal upon driving a bit further the clutch pedal when completely and will not allow me to engage any gears however whilst driving with the right revs it allows it to go into gear and still pulls very well would I be right in thinking it is the slave cylinder or the master cylinder that is at fault

Would appreciate any advice or recommendations on things to check

yes or a release bearing or clutch and dmf , its worth looking at slave first and the push rod
