It is normal for the pedal to stick down until the system has been bled. Once fully bled it should return to normal.

Just come to bleed again, and after pumping the clutch i heard a squelch noise and then clutch fluid coming out of the bell housing wading plug, what does this mean has the new slave given up?

suprisingly not britpart. It was OEM TRW which im shocked about. Is it just a case of replace and rebleed then?

for what it's worth i had to do the arm on my 110 last week - failed with the same symptoms, so did the slave and master (TRW) as well - make sure you have a look through the slave mounting as you should be able to see the pivot point on the arm, if it's punched through then it's engine out - i took my GB out as i was fitting a replacement tranny box - also fitted the rakeway bearing and associated carrier and a 130 clutch plate

To be honest. Ultimate error, i didnt check to see if it had located properly, i thought it just pushed in. I didnt check the clutch fork either. So next time, how would i go about locating it and checking the clutch fork?
