Series 3 Clutch or gearbox problem?

Hi, just started having trouble getting my series 3 into gear especially when cold, could it be the clutch not fully disengaging, or a gearbox problem?. Are there any adjustments to clutch?. Your thoughts would be appreciated.(Should mention it seems to be ok when moving)

Check fluid in the reservoir and that the line between the master and slave cylinders are not leaking. The rubber flexi hose can perish and leak

Do you seem to have free play in your clutch...when your pulling away in say 1st...where does it bit...pedal near the floor or fully up?

Probably also worth checking the grease on the selectors and the top cover on the box (including all the ball bearings and springs) it might just be dried up old grease that softens after its warmed up a bit.

Thanks, for the advise , only just got round to checking things out. not gearbox but leaking clutch fluid from somewhere, no fluid in reservoir!
