I had a search and can't seem to answer my question , couple of weeks ago slave cyl went so replaced and since then biting point went really high and then started slipping so out cam box and new clutch in this morning tried the clutch and the bite is really high still, confused I thought it would be nearer the bottom now , any ideas please

I have took the cover off to check if there was any free play, if I move the pedal up the rod towards bulkhead will that give a lower biting point. And then do I have to re- adjust pedal height ??....cheers

what slave did you use disco one ?and you can get shims to go between slave and bell housing they will lower biting point

I believe it was defender 200tdi slave cyl . Is there differences in slaves between disco and defender

So if I have disco 200tdi eng and clutch housing up to a lt77 souls I have disco slave to match, if so would explain why when new slave fitted biting point moved to top of pedal ....
