evening all!

So replacing the front n/s hub bearing has sorted the droning noise and issues with TC kicking in more frequently than should really be possible but I still have a droning/vibration around 50-65mph. Seems to decrease slightly on let-off and coupled with a “click” (not clunk!) when first starting and selecting D or R makes me think it could be U joint replacement time.

I did check them when I bought the car about 10 months ago (when I really had no idea about land rovers!) and there seem to be any excessive play - but then what do I know!

It had 90k on the clock when I bought it but hadn’t been looked after that we’ll, now it is off-road almost every day so getting muddy etc. Not agressive off-roading just forest tracks and “work” so I’m thinking that for the sake of £50 and a few hours work it’ll be worth replacing the UJ’s on the front prop.

Before I do, any other things to check/look for? And is it worth going for the HD version?

Cheers
