Hi despite having a BBS fault code reader I seem unable to clear any faults from my HEVAC memory despite carrying out repairs as read on the FCR. Any sensible ideas?

Fingers crossed you haven't fitted a faulty sensor then, new or not, some are faulty from the suppliers.
I know nothing about FCR Faultmate although going off the vid, it should clear your HEVAC codes which is why I suggested faulty parts.
I assume you go into the menu, clear codes but it doesn't work, you're not asking how, you're asking why it hasn't cleared.
Is that right?

Maybe faulty parts mate.
Is it showing an electrical out of range type fault or a non communication type which could indicate other electrical leading to that circuit.

Fook knows. Maybe the new part is faulty although don't take my advice as gospel here, I'm only reminding you that even brand new parts can be supplied faulty and make some fault finding near impossible if this fact isn't considered.

Good luck with it.

I think the new Genuine part from landrover is U/s as i now have no temperature control unless switch to hig or low!!!! FFS!!!

Just updated the FCR to version 1.7 .

Keep us posted. Assuming because parts are new they aren't at fault is wrong and should always be an option with any fault finding.

Shouldn't the fault first clear and then if the part is faulty, return?

Who knows, thats why I've maintained that although I know nothing about the Faultmate or the fault itself, you can't rule out new parts being faulty. As it is, there are some other symptoms with this that could be connected to the new part being faulty but hopefully we'll all get an answer in the end.

9 times out of 10 I'm wrong so we'll see lol.
