Has anyone managed to get classic insurance on the discovery 300TDI and if so which company?

thanks in advance

I get what I consider to be a good deal on my RRC (including agreed value) from Heritage Ins.
Not sure how they view 'mods' as mine is original - got to be worth a 'phone call though ;)

We use A Plan on modified D1's with agreed value, salvage retention AND business use - no one else that we could find would offer business use (!!). Not had a claim, so have no idea if they are any good !

Peter James should insure it if it is 1998 or older. Agreed value up to 15k without the need to get it independently valued. Had a full agreed value pay out from them in the past.

Sorry only just seen this!

We should be able to do something for you on this. We can offer limited mileage policies too if you treat it as a classic and don't use it as much as an every day car?

Drop me a PM and I'll give you a call, if you like?

Jordan

I've used Adrian Flux recently which were a very competitive price, but didn't class the policy as a 'classic policy'. If you go through Jordan above and state that you are a member of this forum, you'll get quite a decent discount.

Thanks for all your replys I was a bit unsure if it would qualify for classic as mine is a 98 ( not quite 20 years old) but hopefully Jordan from Adrian flux can help also been in contact with footman james who I already have a policy with for a few classic fords who are also willing to give me a quote. good to know I can get classic policy on it always thought they were quite strict on the 20 year rule.

thanks again

Thanks for that info. My RRC will be 30 years old prior to this years' renewal date & I want to up the agreed value, so AF will be on my call list ;)

You can always drop me a PM guys, I can then call you back to ensure you get the club discount too :D
