Classic has died

Hello
I hope someone can tell me where to start on this one. I hadn't driven my V8 classic for about 4 weeks . I drove it about 6km and it was just fine. Did a bit of shopping and it started ok. It then started missing, this got worse and I just made it to the top of my drive and it died. There is power when I switch on but it will not even turn over just a click from under the center consul. So does anyone have any idea where I should start on this one.

Sounds like a dead battery. Give it a good charge and see what happens; also check alternator output.
