cheaper 2in lift any good??

Whats your opinion on welding the extended spring mount brackets on the axles.They look better than the bolt on spring brackets and is a cheaper option than buying new springs(about 90 quid).
I'm building a 90 on a budget and if theres no cons i would go for it.I will be replacing the dampers but the springs on it are fine.
You know what its like it starts getting out of hand replacing everything.

I would suggest you hunt for some cheaper springs..theres lots of used on ebay too for very little money...

Or you could do as you suggest and save money for a complete new suspension when the welds fail.
