Well done, they normally go for over £100 on ebay & I just spent £165 on a new one two weeks ago. If I'd seen this at the time I'd have snapped it up.
You'll be well pleased with it.

Smilies don't seem to want to want to work without some text.
Let us know how you get on with your roverron once fitted.

This model doesn't include Mafam, but if your car pulls reasonably well from 1500rpm I'd hold off on the mafam till one turns up on ebay. I paid £15.50 for mine off ebay & it made a small difference to lower grunt but I'd have been happy to wait another 6 months till one appeared. I saw another two go for around the same price after I'd bought mine.

My fuel consumption improved by over 10% when I fitted the egr bypass & started using the Millers Powersport 4 diesel additive.
Since fitting the Roverron box, there hasn't been any noticeable worsening of consumption, though I don't always use the extra power. You'll find yourself after a couple of days full throttle everywhere settling down & using less throttle than you previously did.
My car is an auto & Ron recommends setting 6 as a maximum for autos which is what I run.

how many of you guys got a rover ron.perhaps you could say what settings you use and what differences you found once fitted.i use setting 6 find it very good only had it a short while so still playing.

Also, be interestin ta know if your original MAF was used wiv ya box
of twiks!

How many of ya out there had to replace ya MAF!!:(

Im still on the original MAF but fitted the Synergy 2 knowing I can put the other MAF when I can get round to it.

Currently got it set on 10 with the dash mounted switch on green. Car goesc really well but I have noticed a little black smoke every now and again. May drop down the number a little and see if that makes a difference.

Probably also need a replacement EGR Bypass as well.

Got the Roveron box, un fitted it on ok.. set it tu No7, drove up the
rode like a "bat out ov ell", but it kicked in around 2ooo revs?
no black smoke!:) tryed No6 about the same!

Could'nt get much difference below 2000revs! maybe my MAF's shagged!:(
Anywaze, i tryed the lower end at No2 and found it nice smooth build-up
of power! i do like this range, good on fuel too!:)

Greenie, try the old trick of unplugging your MAF. If you suddenly get a good low down boost then you know it's knackered.

Now managed to work out my fuel consumption since fitting my Roverron. It's dropped from 35 to 34mpg & I'm running on position 6. Overall it's an excellent trade off for the extra power.

Funnily enough I have a couple here that I am about to put on ebay - one is the sort with the remote switch for in the cab (allows you turn off, set to towing mode (position 3) or turn to whatever the box is set to under the bonnet) and the other has they facility for this but does not include the switch. If anybody is interested in them before they go onto evilbay then give me a shout.

Also about to list a soft top if anybody is similarly interested

Cheers folks

Stu

Nice one Outlander, hopefully you'll get some interest. Also anyone contemplating the egr bypass, do it asap. You won't be disappointed.
