im goin to put a sub in my 300tdi disco i just wonderd where was the best place to run the wire from the battery through the bulk head to inside.im sure its realy obvious but i havent even had a look yet

Small rubber bung, on near side, above accelerator pedal,
pull 12v supply through, feed to boot, then silicone :) job done!

We once took a car in at work that had had the battery wire run from under the bonnet and ROUND THE OUTSIDE of the A pillar and in through the door.

Truly couldnt believe that one! :D

There is a fair amount of room under the dash in a disco, best bet is to decide on a nice place just above the pedals/under the brake servo and drill a hole and fit the correct size grommet for a decent seal.

Or drill a hole and use conduit to insulate/protect the wiring. Thatrs what i tend to do. Waterproofing is a mugs game in the Disco :D

why'd you want to fit a sub, whats wrong with the one in the back door?

cherry vodka - drink of the ****ed

The one in the back door is not a sub in the true sense, a bit of bass may be, fit a sub in your boot and you will hear the difference.
My 200watt sub in a box on the boot floor gives a low 60 Hz of sub bass sound, and it could go lower... brilliant :D

The back door speakers are mid-bass drivers, for sub bass we're talking 10" upwards :D

Wow again! your a winner :cheer2: Mr Noisy

That's what I have so much better than the stand item but I loose a lot of space in the boot, but it's easly unpluged and lifted out and then I filck a switch and revert back to the door "sub" loudspeakers when I have too.:)
