Chassis treatment

Hi folks,

Is there any members around the Edinburgh and lothians area that can recommend somewhere for me to take my Disco 2 to that does chassis cleaning, whether it be wire brushing or whatever and undersealing?

Want to get it done soon for peace of mind.

Can't help with a recommendation, but wherever you end up don't make the mistake I made - ask if they'll remove all steps, plastic trim and undertrays before starting, then check for yourself once job is done

Bit of a travel but Gibson autos in Cumnock do a good job. Have done my 2 disco,s and really inspect and clean and advise before starting the job.
Check out their website "Gibson Autos Cumnock" Takes me 2 /2.5 hours each way by public transport but to me, well worth it.

Thanks for the recommendation, what was rough cost?

Luckily Cumnock has a station on the Glasgow-Kilmarnock-Dumfries line.

Regards cost, each time i have had the chassis waxoyled i have had other work done at same time.
I am quite sure they would give you a guide price. I have found them very fair with costs and advice.
What about GEMM 4x4 at Falkirk/Larbert? or Strathearn at Auchterarder.
