Changing Discovery 1 from 315 mhz to 433mhz

Quick daft question, I've got a jap import discovery 1 V8 the green alarm and central locking box is currently a 315mhz box and only one fob.

If I swap it and plug in a 433mhz version would it now operate the doors with the new 433mhz fobs?

Unlikely, 315 and 443 is just the carrier frequency that the information is transmitted on. If you didn't have that functionality before hand there may not be appropriate wiring in the looms or in the doors, fitting a new box may also require the additional wiring if that is the case

A straight forward swap, ie ‘plug and play’ assuming your existing system is fully functional.
The fobs are programmed to the security ecu (green box) therefore ensure that it comes with the correct two fobs that u required.
As mentioned atheism frequency is just the carrier, if you just want an additional 315 fob then the likes of Remote Key will supply one, I believe, although no cheap.
