Central Locking

Please Help The Central Locking On My K Reg Discovery Will Unlock The Central Locking But Will Not Lock I Have To Lock By Going Through Back Door And Push Latch Down In Front Then All Doors Lock

Either way your gonna have to take off the panel to have a look.
I would imagine one of the bars has come off, they only work on a series of little link bars that run from the lock to central locking motor and vice versa, and they are only held on with silly little clips. Think you will find one has come off probably.

As lenny said, door skins are going to have to come off, also look for a small plastic washer type thing directly behind the the lock, these often snap. with the door skin off, put your key in the lock and give it a turn you should be able to see the plastic bit make contact with another bit or be able to see if the washer thingy opens up (split)
i know its all bits and thingy's, but i dont know what there called. you'll know what i mean when you look at it.

The whole door skin? not interior trim panel?

yes the door panel or door card as the boy racers call it. NOT the door skin

thank god for that, got dodgy rear passenger lock to look at sometime......
