Hi - my 1993 200tdi had an aftermarket alarm and drivers side actuator fitted, which is buggered.

I've got hold of a RR actuator that has 5 wires and can see the original loom had 4 wires.

I think the 5th wire was for an optional factory fit remote key fob, so can be left taped up (but don't know which one this is), and hoped someone knew what colours go where so I don't fry anything doing it trial and error.

Pic shows 5 wires coming from actuator and the chopped connector from the door loom.

Cheers, Nick

Ok I don't have the wiring diagram or access to my spare RRc actuator at the moment, but black is to black, so with a 12v battery and black to negative apply one of other other four to the positive, and when the servo moves u have found operating circuit.

For the other three wires you require a pair for the to control the slaves in the other doors, so with you multimeter check for a complete circuit that will make-break alternately via the micro switch within the actuator when the servo operates, u can do that by pulling or pushing the arm, that is you supply and return for the slaves which are common wired ie. parallel.

There u have it, if u find that locking the drivers door unlocks the others just reverse the slave pair of wires

As u have said the remaining wire is used when the vehicle has remote locking facility so it's spare.
