Evening everyone. I am about to respray my series 3 Land Rover. With Deep Bronze Green /Limestone gloss celullose paint ,But would like some advice as the best supplier or brand of celullose to use,as it is years ago since I used any celullose. Iam looking at using about 5ltrs./green /2.5ltrs of Limestone Thanks Steve.

HI it seems to be the best solution as I have only medium compressor/spraygun and a limited room (small garage) and in a built up area.(neighbours) Regards Steve

I once did a respray outdoors on my parents drive. Cellulose and plenty of coats. I had a mask on but everytime someone walked by I hid it to make it look like what I was doing was not toxic! 3 colour coats a 3 clear all cut back, it actually looked really good but there were some greenfly trapped in the clear coat like bugs in amber if you knew where to look. Unfortunatly a foot of the lawn was gunmetal too. Would I spray outside again? No, I bought brushing enamel for the Series and a box of solvent paint mini-rollers, just waiting for the rain to stop..

A much better way of painting that all this spraying nonsense. And doing it that way you put enough paint on that the greenfly cannot be seen! You can also paint it in the rain, you just get little rings all over it once it has dried. I painted my roof and it rained about an hour later, but a quick rub down and it was good enough.
