No sorry I've got a p38 with the changer in the boot. Apart from parking it in Liverpool for 10 minutes which would solve your problem. I'm sure Saint or holidaychicken will help. Is removal not described in Rave?

That's true ! But u have to remember I'm new too this site and to be honest I haven't got a scooby what u mean by saint or holiday chicken ???
Please don't Think I'm dumb but please explain what I need to do .
It took me 10 mins to put apost on this site

I have never looked at mine but i am assuming you need to remove the glovebox first.
Get yourself a copy of rave manual which has it in there, extract attached, and that will give you all the detail you need, download from the following link.:)

It is a PITA. Half of the dash needs to come out because of where they have put it. I still have my replacement unit waiting to be put in because I was about to do it when 1 :realised the amount of trim that needs to come off and didn't have time, 2: much more serious jobs took over and 3: I'm just as happy using my MP3 through a sender.

Only have to remove the glove box to get the multichanger out......the wiring to the CD unit is long enough for you to remove the glove box complete and put it on the seat, then undo the mounted screws and slide the CD unit out....
You need to take the side panels of the dash off so no need to remove the whole dash fascia etc....pics below:

Sorry yes just seen your pictures !! Thanks for that . I didn't realise it meant taken the car apart lol !
What a nightmare it is to just take out the changer !
I will go at it again and hopefully get there with no screws left over !!!!!

Thanks again Craig

Bad Ant. You raised my hopes, when you said "only have to take glove box out", then dashed them again when you proceeded to show that it is half the bloody dash , slight exaggeration I know, but still a bloody lot of trim to take off just for a CD changer.
Good luck Sheppey.

Mate it's a nightmare ! I never knew it would be such a big job !
I've got trim every where lol
But hopefully it will go back ??? Hopefully!

Cheers Sheppy
