£68 last week for two 4.6 hse cats , depends on where you go, i wouldnt go to the scrap yard, go to the local metal merchants.

The last cat I took in was off a 94 ford escort and I got £32 for it as it was a full one.
As mentioned before go to a scrap dealer such as Simms Metals or EMR who are country wide rather than a scrap yard as they will rip you off

I went to EMR in Manchester as i was told they was fetching £75 each, i wish i had gone to my local instead.

Been a long time since a cat was worth £75 except the large BMW cats.

P38 cats I would say £30 - £35 each if they're genuine, cats are priced by grade and size and a P38 cat isn't particularly big but it does have 2 of em.

De-catted my 300TDi and threw the bugger in the skip 3 weeks ago where my wife works

I am sending her out from her office tomorrow to have a look see if its still there????

I had a set of V8 catslast year but thought as one was rattling and colapsed it was worthless and as the only place I know was in Colchester (an hour round trip) I binned them.

Found out a rattly cat is considered a Half cat and still worth about half value, about £23, so proberably binned about £60.

Googled it this morning and found a place a few miles from my house, well hidden away and in an area you would never know there was a scrap metal merchants.
