Or any one that knows the answer...

I have brought a new switch - another Cruise Control switch - to use to turn off the air con’ fans when wading - @Datatek’s mod - and I can’t find an adaptor to fit the back of the switch.

Any ideas as to the name of the gizmo I’m looking for and where I can buy one?

Hi Nick, I would try the RS website. Thats where i got my JPT plugs for the engine harness. They seem to have alot of choice in their automotive connectors section. I think it's the green one in the attached you're after

Its a new switch - not a replacement - and I'm using it to switch a new accessory, Datateks fan mod'. So there isn't any existing wiring for it.

Thought you were using one of the blanks in the existing dash? I used a cruise control switch for my front parking sensors. I'm fairly sure the loom was already there behind the switch but not used. Obviously I ran new wires through the bulkhead and up but I think the plug was there.

You are right - that is what I'm doing - but it wasn't me that had my fingers behind the dash - I had my head in the engine bay while a friend groped about behind the switches - so I'll have a look myself - maybe there is spare socket lurking in the dark.

Thanks - I'll definitely have a proper look for this.

Had a good look, but no joy. No sign of an unused loom. Bugger.

I know mine sent a few years in the south of France - definitely got modifications - there is a fan on the gearbox oil cooler rad' that I am now certain is a mod added by a previous owner.
