What does it say when you try to burn them?

They burn fine and verify fine but the unit in the rangie wont accept them

I take it the Rngie accepts the ones you are burning from. Maybe it's the discs you are using, i have had burned discs in mine they work no problem. We are talking the Carin unit here are we?

You need to burn the disc at the slowest speed your machine will do and if there is a an option select mode1 burning method. Using a CD-R disc is fine, but it must be burnt at the slowest speed, like 1x

Yes it is the Carin system,at the moment I am trying to source an origenal disk to to take an image from as the images I have at the moment I downloaded from the net.
I will try a slower speed and some different media.

Just a thought.......

Are you burning a disk image or copying the files onto the new disk?

I would imagine that it has to be a disk image i.e. where the whole disk is an identical replica of the original. If you just copy the files, the disk is not 'identical'.
