Brookland museum have their military vehicles day on the 18 th Nov, entries (free) by the 4th Nov (form on the website) . There's usually a good number of ex-military Series there and they also usually let you all drive round the MB World off-road course (also for free but you must book in) which is great fun and the only time all year we go off road.

So we went and had a great time. Lots of Series and fun driving round the MB World off road course and the test hill. Here's how we got on on the hill:

I'm really surprised at how well it went up. Its a LWB with a camper roof and roof rack and we had quite a bit of gear in. Like this and 2 up its about 2Tons. Its got 235/86 16 tyres and 3.54 diffs and we were in Low Range 2nd. The Perkins 4203 (3.3L) is claimed to be 63 hp, they seem to be big horses! The test hill is 1:8 then 1:5 then 1:4 in equal lenghts.
I'll try and post a link to the 4x4 course too.
